Today’s How To Wear It, Wednesday features our Original Steel Blue Tee and the ever-lovely Sam. With summer approaching we’ve added three new employees – Sam, Tori and Adele. Sam just returned from Italy where she studied abroad for four months. She was telling me about the awesome people she met and all of the fresh markets. Sounds good, huh? Maybe walk in love. should think about opening a store in Italy. I’d go just for the fresh bread and swarthy men. Just kidding! (But seriously.)

Ohhh man, these photos make me feel like summertime is literally right around the corner — which would be awesome. Iced coffees, tank tops, playing frisbee, bike rides… swimming!?!?! Ahh … I’m getting ahead of myself. It’s currently like 40 degrees outside and some man is cleaning our streets super-loud. Not so much the summery vibe that Tori gives off in these How To Wear It, Wednesday images.

A year ago today, walk in love. opened it’s doors for the very first time – and I don’t think any of us had a clue as to how it would change our lives. We will be celebrating our first year of business with a Birthday Bash this Saturday, May 5th – read all about it here!
We started out with a completely unfinished store space inside the mall…
We had less than 30 days to completely renovate, paint, design and stock our store. Life was more than a little crazy during those 30 days…
But, our friends and family were amazing and beyond helpful. We couldn’t have completed everything we did without them.
Mid-summer we moved our store outside into the Fountain Shoppes…
And we’re still there today! Praise God!

T.J. and I were introduced to Tori through our dear friend Maddie, because the two of them have known each other since grade school. Tori is a perfect fit for our walk in love. team.
